"We have completed about 1/3 of our journey. Unbelievable! The things I've seen in the past 4 days are some of the most beautiful I've seen - ever! We are in McGrath getting one of our machines repaired. Kelly decided to drive on both sides of a tree and slowed us down, a little. Weather is extremely cold, but perfect. From McGrath onto Nome, Kelly and I are on our own, but prepared. We still can't seem to beat the mushers; we go faster, but they go day and night. Nome by Sunday. I will update again if I get the chance and send pictures."
